A logo is the first word in a brand’s conversation with its user. I design identity systems that are scalable, accessible, and high-contrast, ensuring brand recognition whether on a 20-foot tradeshow banner or a 40px mobile app icon.

Case Study: Rattlesnake & Cedar Identity

The Objective: Transform a nostalgic visual landmark into a modern band identity that resonates with Americana and Old-School roots.

  • Narrative World-Building: I leveraged the "RC Cola" vintage aesthetic to immediately establish a sense of heritage and familiarity for the band’s audience.

  • The System: I provided the client with a Suite of Marks, including circular badges and "stripped-down" wordmarks, to ensure the logo works on everything from a small Spotify profile picture to a large-scale drum head.

  • Collaborative Design: Acting as a creative partner, I used Adobe Illustrator to translate the band's specific vision into high-precision vector assets.

At the heart of every great digital experience is a recognizable character. For Rattlesnake & Cedar, the logo isn't just a graphic—it's the Visual Anchor for their story. By designing with scalability in mind, I ensured the band could maintain a consistent 'voice' across the entire listener journey, from the first time a fan sees a social ad to the moment they press play on an album.
